Broadway Center touring shows are celebrating the sixth year of original touring productions that honor the legacy of civil rights leaders and encourage civic responsibility among young learners. These touring shows have reached over 60,000 youth at schools throughout Pierce County, South King, and South Kitsap Counties.

CIVIL RIGHTS LEGACY TOUR

11 Days in the Life of Dr. King

11 Days chronicles Dr. King’s life and legacy through 11 spoken word/poetry vignettes that feature dance, shadow play and historic images. This performance focuses on Dr. King’s relationship with communities, how he challenged and changed our nation and his message of honoring the dignity and rights of all.  Ultimately the program calls on audiences to reflect on how we can continue Dr. King’s mission and legacy each and every day.

Tour Dates Available:
January 8 - January 26, 2018

Single Tour Assembly: $1,100
Two Assemblies: $1,200

Partnering School Assembly:

$750 each - Partner with another school to host one assembly at each school on the same day.
