Broadway Center Presents
An Evening of Funny Business With
Host of CBS’s Late Late Show - Craig Ferguson
Tacoma, WA- Host of CBS’s Late, Late Show, Craig Ferguson, will perform at the Pantages Theater on Saturday, November 3, 2007 at 7:30pm. Often credited for the best opening monologue on television, Ferguson will no doubt have the audience roaring with laughter at his scathingly funny one liners and hilarious commentary. Opening for Ferguson is up and coming comedian and tour de force in LA’s Improv scene, Randy Kagan.
Craig Ferguson has cultivated one of the most eclectic and diverse careers in Hollywood. Launching his career as a drummer for some of the worst punk bands in the UK, Ferguson eventually was convinced to begin a comic stand up routine in Glasgow. Soon after, Ferguson became the star of his own BBC show The Ferguson Theory. Once Ferguson moved on to American television, he starred with Marie Osmond and Betty White in Maybe This Time. Ultimately, he found success on the long running Drew Carey Show, playing Drew Carey’s boss, Nigel Wick. In 2005, Ferguson took over CBS’ Late, Late Show. Immediately the show set all-time viewer records in three consecutive sweeps.
In addition to television, Ferguson has appeared in numerous films, including Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events, Prendimi l’anima, Life Without Dick, Born Romantic, The Big Tease, and his directorial debut I’ll Be There, for which he won “Best New Director” at the Napa Valley Film Festival. Ferguson is also an accomplished author, writing the feature films The Big Tease and Saving Grace, and recently published his new novel - Between the Bridge and the River. Drawing from an array of topics and personal experiences, Ferguson has carefully crafted one of the most well rounded and hilarious careers in Hollywood.
A peerless entertainer, the LA Times raves that Ferguson is “reinventing the monologue…self-depreciating and funny…Craig Ferguson evoke[s] the feeling of listening to a great storyteller in a neighborhood bar.”
Randy Kagan, is a veteran of comedy at the Hollywood Improv and Comedy Store in LA. His humor has been described as intelligent and off the cuff. Performing with the likes of Dennis Miller and Mitch Hedberg, The Arizona Republic has labeled him “a one-man entertainment industry.” As host of E! Networks’ Starlicious Makeovers and Take Me, and roles on Punk’d and My Coolest Years, Kagan is quickly becoming one of the most recognizable young talents in Hollywood.
